The Block 2021: Where are they now?

The Block 2021 was one of the most dramatic seasons to date – who can forget the never-ending photo/cheating/schedule scandal that spanned across the whole season? Records were also broken – with Kirsty and Jesse achieving the highest sale price for a Block home in history. It’s time we take a deep dive and see where the 5 couples from The Block’s most memorable season are today.


WA power couple and seasoned renovators Ronnie and Georgia rocked The Block on their second stint, winning 5 reveals within the one season! They won’t be gone too long from our screens though. Ronnie is set to star on the 2022 season of Channel 9’s Celebrity Apprentice and the pair are rumoured to have upcoming ‘reno show’ projects with Channel 9. They are also about begin renovations on their own home – emulating their signature contemporary classic style on their 1920’s weatherboard home.

All-Stars Mitch and Mark came back with a strong vision for their Federation style home on The Block Fans Vs Faves and won over viewers with their willingness to adapt their signature glam style to a heritage home. While the judges weren’t a fan, the seasoned renovators and talented designers took out the show with serial buyer Danny Wallis purchasing their home. Since the show they’ve launched their Mitch and Mark Home as a retail store in Newport, NSW alongside a new podcast titled ‘Reality Reno with Mitch and Mark.’ They are beginning renovations on their own home, which has stunning ocean and town views.

Third-place getters and reno newbies Tanya and Vito are set to go down as one of The Block’s most memorable couples. Their mid-century modern Block home was also purchased by Danny Wallis, who donated the property to My Room CC and are using the home for accommodation for families suffering with children cancer. Tanya recently launched a stunning range of artworks, while Vito continues to operate Melbourne-based window furnishing business Shaded By Noori. While there isn’t any reality TV projects currently announced for the pair, we can’t imagine it’ll be too long before they’re back on our screens!

Luke and Josh

Love Island boys Luke and Josh Packham were runners up on The Block Fans Vs Faves and no doubt made their mark with viewers. Josh has been announced as host of 9Life series Australia’s Best Pools , while Luke continues his instant lawn business. Josh recently came under fire for encouraging followers to take Ivermectin as a COVID treatment – despite medical experts everywhere advising against doing so. He also was criticised for ‘ignorant’ comments and spreading misinformation in regards to treatment of COVID.

Country music duo Kirsty and Jesse won over viewers who fell in love with their massive Hamptons style home and overall good vibes. Since the show ended, the pair have been busy with many new projects. Kirsty’s new album ‘Wild’ is released on April 15th, and the pairs new podcast ‘The Kirsty and Jesse Podcast’ launches March 23rd. The pair are also launching their new online series ‘Lakehouse Build’ which follows the journey of them renovating their own home.
